Pankaj Bhanot
Pankaj may be the most talented of us all and current Club Captain. He is a highly effective spinner. He is dangerous with the ball in his hand and the club's main strike bowler. He is spirited in the field, possessing agility and a strong arm. He is a good team player. He can either open the batting or come down lower in the order for stability and some quick runs.

Peter Watson
Peter plays with a straight bat and enjoys giving the ball a big hit. He can bat up the order and tries to put quick runs on the board. A medium pace bowler who has the ability to generate wickets. The club's diplomatic officer, Peter is charged with settling most disputes.

Deon van Niekirk
Deon is a good athlete and as most South Africans, he is extremely competitive. He enjoys bowling and batting with a steady, straight bat. Quick and reliable in the field as well. Even more impressive are his social skills after the match

Jolon Wagner
Good natured individual with all-around ability. Generates sufficient drift and turn with his bowling to cause problems. He puts in a lot of effort in the field. Jolon plays with a straight bat and shows promise as an upper order batsman. He brings an Aussie Rules football so we can have a few kicks and giggles.

James Lawrence
James is the quickest and more accurate bowler in the club. He played formerly for the Surrey Under-21 side. He is an effective opening bowler and a solid fielder. He can produce runs with the bat as well, especially with his lucky bat from England. Off the pitch he is relaxed and good natured.

Mebs Virji
Mebs is one of our newer members. He has an unusual bowling style but seems more confortable with the bat in his hands. He brings enthusiasm and a good attitude to the club. Mebs is a big English cricket supporter which always is appreciated so that we have someone to the piss out of.

Lazar Joseph
All-rounder who is undoubtedly the hardest hitter of the ball in the club. Does not like to waste time at the crease getting settled and playing himself in. Loves to hit fours and sixes. Can build a big total in a matter of minutes. A useful bowler, who is much quicker than his short run-up may suggest. Our club's version of Wasim Akram.

Robert Cowie
"Snail Bob" is an all-rounder who can hold up an end with the bat, bowl a few overs of slow, frustrating spin, and undoubtedly the keenest fielder in the side. Extremely dangerous in the covers or in mid-wicket area. Robert has toured to Canada and California with the club. Useful in the pub after the match. He has a fond appreciation for women, ale and snails, but not exactly in that order.

Nevin Field
Plays the game with much enthusiasm. Pleasant to be around both on and off the field. Nevin enjoys batting up the order and he plays with a straight bat. Nevin bowls medium pace and he is an athletic fielder.

Trevor Page
Trevor is a good natured player who gives 100% in the field. Trevor plays with a straight bat so it will be just a matter of time before he finds his touch a produces some big totals. Great gentleman, not opposed to a trip to the pub after the match.

Bishnu "Ram" Ramsarran
Plays the game with passion and exuberance. Penetrating medium pace bowler who can produce important break-throughs. Hard hitting middle order batsman and he runs aggressively between the wickets. Outspoken club member who is very socialable. Oversees club travel documentation and the naturalization of overseas players.

Ambrish Shahi
Another player who plays the game with unbridled PASSION. A medium pace bowler who bowls with a variation to his action which gives batsmen fits. He is a good fielder, seems to be at the right place at the right time. He will always have a throw at the stumps if you struggle to make the crease. Enjoys hitting the ball, it does not take him long to find the sweet spot.

Owen O'Callaghan
Owen seems like an intelligent cricketer who can bat up the order and pace a solid innings. Plays with a straight bat, but he will punish the bad ball. Strong fielder close to the bat, particularly behind the stumps. Owen is level headed and a lot of fun off of the field.

James Foster
This volcanologist-cricketer when he is not inside a Big Island volcano or in Antartica. A useful wicketkeeper and middle order batsman. James has continued to develop as a batsman and is a steady contributor with runs. He can bowl a few overs of swing and useful at the pub. Intelligent and witty, level headed in tight situations.

Vinoo Ganapathy, MD.
This Emergency Room Physician can take apart bowling attacks with surgical precision. Straight bat in a crisis. Former member of the Indian Air Force XI. Bowls tidy off-spin and has a good set of hands. A relaxed outlook on the game and life. Enjoys having a post-match beer and handy in all medical emergencies.

Dustin Mapson
Dustin is relatively new to cricket. What he lacks in technique he more than makes up for with hand-eye coordination and natural ability. He plays with a high level of enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn more about cricket. Dustin is the master of the drag bunt, a shot he is introducing to the game. He will also knock the ball out of the ground with powerful sixes. He is also developing nicely as an opening bowler mixing in yorkers with deliveries on a good length.

Steve Pratt
Aggressive player from "Down Under." Steve enjoys the pure competition of sport and he plays hard. This sometimes involves bowling short, hard throws for the run out or going for a big six. He wants the new ball and is prepared to challenge the batsmen. With the bat he is a creative stroke player. Watch out for the legside boundaires! Currently in England.

Jerry Digitaki
Extremely athletic cricketer. Useful medium pace bowler. Handy fielder and a lower order batsman who plays with intelligence. Plays a full compliment of shots and useful in a run chase. Very socialable during and after the match. Great company and dedicated club member. He can be persuaded to perfom a "Haka." Jerry has made large batches of kava for the team.

Rodger Brown
Rodger is orginally from New Zealand, but do not let that fool you; he is a great guy! Rdoger can bowl effective medium pace and he can swing a straight bat too. We look forward to having Rodger around for a time to come.

Dean Blansford
"Deano" or "Dean Machine" as he is often known is a great guy! Just happy to be out in the filed with the boys! Good sense of humor and attitude on the field. Dean likes to bat, bowl, drink beer and chat about rugby. He is good with the bat, just needs a little work on technique. With the ball he generates good lift! Nice guy, but not the best athlete in the family.

Ricky Pike
"Blosson" is a keen cricketer with all-around ability. A medium pace bowler and a strong middle order batsman. Produces a bit of swing and a bit of cut. With the bat he enjoys cutting and pulling. Constantly working on his game so expect good things from him in the coming months.

Great competitor and club member. Singh is keen as mustard to play cricket. He enjoys opening the batting at smashing balls through the square leg area. Playing himself in while playing through the "V" means nothing to this man. A good fielder with a strong arm. Full of spirit, an excellent socializer. Enjoys brandy, beer and good company. Mark Berwick
All-rounder who has been playing for 12 years, including a two year stint in Australia. Enjoys hitting the ball hard, can bowl left arm orthodox or medium pace, and an agile fielder. Claim to fame is being the only American to have played cricket on the Sydney Cricket Ground. He is the current Club President.

Vinod Malhotra
One of the most talented and level headed all-rounders in the club. Extremely useful as a medium pace bowler and leading bat. Calm and collected under pressure, the level headed thinking that the club needs in a crisis. A skilled batsman, a strokeplayer of the higher order. Agile fielder who has taken several difficult catches in slips. Enjoys a post match ale and a cigarette.

Denver Shaerrad
First in a pair of twin brothers who have recently relocated to Hawaii. Lower middle order batsman who's complement of shots is ever-expanding. Keen fielder with a strong arm. Developing slow medium bowler who has the ability to get a wicket or two in his short bowling spell.

Andrew Candelet
Andrew is an all-rounder from England. He bowls on a good line and length and he has a steady pair of hands in the field. Andrew's batting style seems to have been modeled after the great Geoffrey Boycott. The longer that you occupy the crease the more runs you will make.

Russell Freeman
Wise, veteran of the game who has played at higher levels in New Zealand and in Central Africa. Keeps a tidy wicket and bats very striaght. Perfect compliment to any tour. Keen to play the game and tour anywhere. One of the leaders in post-match festivities. Extremely good natured individual who embodies the spirit of club cricket. Prone to volunteer his house for cricket social engagements. Currently residing in Africa.

Ragu is a quiet cricketer from Sri Lanka who seems most interested in playing competitive cricket. He is a genuine medium pace bowler and an energetic fielder. When batting he does not like to waste much time. Ragu enjoys hitting boundaries.

Clay Sutton
Clay is a member of the Australian Army stationed in Hawaii for the next three years. He appears to be quite skilled and we expect big things from him once we are able to blast the rust off of his game. Clay bowls an effective medium pace that it on the spot. He is a good fielder and a promising bat. Clay is as competitive as you would expect for an Aussie.

Steve is a great guy from England who enjoys his cricket. He bowls slow medium and he enjoys putting willow on leather. Steve brings a good attitude and he is effective in the pub after the match.
